Our
Trestle Board
The Trestle Board is the traditional name for the newsletter
of most Masonic Organizations. The name comes from the type of
drawing table on which architects have traditionally laid out
their plans. It was the place where ancient craftsmen went to
learn what they were assigned by the master to do. We use the
term in a symbolic way to refer to one of our ways of communication.
